Dear Members and Supporters,
Welcome to the Long Island 10/13 Club!
It is with immense pride that I assume the role of president of this esteemed organization, dedicated to the service and support of Long Island's law enforcement community, encompassing both active duty and retired members.
As we continue to expand our reach and impact, our commitment to serving each and every member remains unwavering. The Long Island 10/13 Club stands as a beacon of unity, representing the dedicated men and women of the Nassau and Suffolk county police departments, as well as members from various law enforcement agencies across Long Island and New York City.
Together, we form a formidable force, united in our mission to uphold the noble profession of policing, despite the challenges and scrutiny it faces. In recent times, the landscape of law enforcement has grown increasingly complex, placing greater demands on our officers and
organizations alike. Yet, in the face of adversity, we remain steadfast in our dedication to our members and the communities we serve. We are committed to fostering understanding and appreciation for the sacrifices made by those who proudly wear the shield, amidst the noise of media sensationalism and legislative challenges.
To our esteemed members, I extend my heartfelt gratitude for your continued support and dedication. Your unwavering commitment fuels our collective efforts to uphold the integrity of our profession. To our fellow law enforcement groups across New York State, I extend an invitation to join our ranks, as we stand stronger together in our pursuit of excellence.
Fraternally yours,
Richard Bohn
